Psalm/Pricing

Pricing

Cheaper than the person
you were about to hire

One price for your whole team, never per head. A junior administrator costs a thousand pounds a month and goes home at five. Psalm starts at thirty-nine.

14 days free. No card needed. Your price is locked for as long as you stay.

Your market

Priced for where you are

Each market is priced for that market rather than converted from pounds, so nobody pays a foreign exchange rate for the same software.

The only meter

What uses a credit

Everything else in Psalm is unmetered. You can raise a thousand invoices, add a hundred products and message your team all day without a counter moving anywhere. In one sentence: asking, looking things up, dictating and recording are free and always will be. Credits are only used when Smarty produces a piece of work for you, and one credit is one penny.

Credits are used when Smarty is

  • Drafting a quotation. Building a full quotation draft from what you described.
  • Writing a payment chase. Writing the message that asks a customer for money they owe.
  • Working out what to reorder. Reading your stock and usage and producing a list of what to buy.
  • Changing many records at once. The first two changes in a request are free. After that, each block of up to ten is 10 credits, so changing forty prices is 40 credits.
  • Changing a setting by asking. Changing how Psalm is set up by describing what you want.
  • Your morning summary. The daily digest of what needs you, written before you open the app. It is off unless you switch it on.

Credits are never used when you are

  • Asking a question. Free, and always will be. An assistant you are afraid to talk to is worth nothing.
  • Creating or changing a record. Up to two changes in one request, such as adding a lead or marking a job finished. This is typing, done by talking.
  • Speaking instead of typing. Dictating into any box in Psalm, and talking to Smarty.
  • Having an answer read back. Smarty reading an answer aloud when you are driving or on site.
  • Checking your spelling. Tidying the spelling and grammar of something you wrote.
  • Rewording something. Rewording a note or a message you have already written.
  • Summarising something. A short summary of something already in front of you.
  • Setting a follow-up. Setting or moving a reminder to come back to somebody.
  • Reporting a problem. Nobody should ever pay to tell us something is broken.
  • Having your paperwork read. The invoices, catalogues and price lists you hand over at setup are read for nothing. Setting up is on us.
  • Having a feature built for you. Ask for something Psalm does not do yet and we build it, at no charge, on every plan. Making Psalm fit your business is the product.
  • Work that failed. If something goes wrong at our end it is not counted, and the credits are returned to you.

Run out and nothing breaks. Psalm carries on exactly as before, minus the help, and you can add more credits at any point in the month.

Your AI employee is live and included on every plan, from the first day of the trial. Read what it does.

Money questions

Before you put a card in

Is Psalm charged per user?

No. You pay one price for the whole company. Each plan includes a number of people, and you move up a plan when you outgrow it. Adding your salesman, your accountant and your site supervisor costs you nothing extra, which is the point: software priced per head quietly encourages you to keep people off it.

What happens when the free trial ends?

Nothing is charged automatically, because we never take a card to start. Fourteen days in, you choose a plan. If you do nothing, your workspace pauses rather than disappears, your data stays exactly where it is, and you can still sign in and export it. Pick a plan later and everything is waiting.

Can I change plan or cancel?

Any time, from inside Psalm. Moving up takes effect immediately. Cancelling leaves your workspace running to the end of the period you have already paid for, and there is no exit fee and no phone call to sit through.

What does "your price is locked" mean?

The price you join at is the price you keep, for as long as you stay on that plan. When we raise prices for new businesses, yours does not move. Early businesses take a risk on us, and that is how we say thank you.

Why is Indian pricing not the pound price converted?

Because a converted price is the wrong price. Each market is priced for what software is genuinely worth there. Indian pricing is set in rupees and billed yearly in one payment, which is how most Indian businesses prefer to buy software.

Are there setup fees, or anything hidden?

None. Setup, importing your old data, every update, and support are included. The only thing you can ever be asked to pay more for is additional AI credits, and only if you choose to add them.

Do I need a card to try it?

No. Fourteen days, no card, no sales call. Sign up, answer three questions about your trade, and you are in.

How do I pay?

By card, securely through Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Invoices for your own records arrive by email automatically.

Fourteen days. No card.

Give it one evening. Most owners find something in the first week they had no idea was there.
